Stage of the Art #4
These New Puritans are joined on stage by two bands from the emerging French scene, part of Stage of the Art, the unprecedented music collaboration between the ICA and Palais de Tokyo in Paris. This is our final rendez-vous of the 2008 season.
Nelson are a cross between Joy Division, The Rapture and Animal Collective, who promise an explosive performance where aggressive guitars compete with delicate electronic sounds.
Zombie Zombie are a mad musical scientist project based in Paris, whose horror movie-influenceds sounds are reminiscent of Suicide or Can!
Hedi Slimane collaborators These New Puritans have a reputation for furious live shows. This is a band of extremes, for a night of extreme sensations.

Stage of the Art #3 takes place in June 7th at the ICA, London.
Sierra Casady, COCOROSIE, performes a unique piece inspired by the work of the french contemporary artist Loris Gréaud, who currently exhibites at the ICA with "Once is Always Twice", following his solo exhibition at Palais de Tokyo " Cellar Door", early this year...

THE KILLS join us in Paris at Palais de Tokyo for an exclusive performance, on July 9th.
As usual, the small concert hall gives us an opportunity to share the experience in an intimate setting.

A second album produced by Tigersushi head Joakim, where a French band is not just a French ban, reaches supersonic speed, breaks all boundaries and conquers the world.

We know from them that:
They are not like-minded individuals.
They gather instinctively.
Some of them met ten years ago at the Jazz conservatory in Paris.
They burned the Academy and forgot their music theories in order to breathe.

So far Gonzales & "Le Together Ensemble" and guest Poni Hoax (FR) are confirmed at the ICA on the 28/04/08.
